The effects of COVID-19 and Brexit have had ongoing impacts to stock levels of several products in the UK. Electrical components are unfortunately not immune to this, and we are experiencing ongoing difficulties with certain products.
The COVID-19 pandemic put a hold on the manufacturing of many products servicing many industries around the world. Despite most restrictions now being lifted, there is still a backlog whilst production levels improve and return back to normal. Therefore, delays concerning the delivery of products to suppliers in the UK, may still apply in the short term.
Supply-chains are also under increased pressure due to Brexit. There is certainly more administration to deal with and there can be no doubt that this is contributing to further delays on goods arriving from the EU.
Whilst we are doing all we can to manage expectations and provide regular updates given to us directly from the manufacturers themselves, this is an industry-wide problem and so we appreciate your ongoing patience and understanding.
As COVID restrictions have been lifted, we hope to revert back to service levels enjoyed pre-2020, however this will only happen given time. In the meantime, we are always a phone call away and we will endeavour to keep you updated on the progress of your product.
