We all have to get used to a new normal - BXH would like to help you any way we can
While BXH has remained operational to serve key industries throughout the pandemic, some businesses took the decision to close operations temporarily. Now those businesses are reopening, they face unique challenges as they return to a new version of normal.
At BXH, we are now used to this new normal and are taking extra measures to keep our staff and customers safe:
- More frequent cleaning schedules.
- Hand sanitiser at the door for customers and provided to each employee.
- Increased use of couriers to limit the number of people on your site.
- Minimal contact collections - customers call ahead to place an order so it's ready on arrival.
- Perspex screens at the counters.
- Physical distancing of 1 metre plus between all employees and customers.
As you can see, we are taking all the necessary precautions to continue to operate safely. Now, we want to know if we can help your business return to full capacity, and whether there is anything you require of us in order to resume our business relationship.
Please fill out our short survey to help us understand how we can support your operations.
During these difficult times, BXH remains open for business.
Due to the diversity of our customer base we feel it is our responsibility to continue offering products and services to help your businesses continue
Many of our customers are amongst the critical services list offering services to the NHS, food & beverage, and pharmaceutical industries. During this pandemic, our customers are providing a wide range of services and products to these industries, including the manufacturing of generator’s, electrical switch boards and hand sanitisers
We will continue to work to the guidance issued by the Government, alongside our own health and safety policies.
Our employees are working from home where possible, but our branches remain open for business at this time.
If you need your order as a matter of urgency and cannot wait for courier delivery, call or email us to place your order - we will ensure your goods are ready for collection on arrival, minimising the time you spend in our trade counters.
We hope your families, friends and colleagues are remaining safe in these difficult times.
Take care and stay safe.
To avoid any further disruption to your business, BXH Limited is doing everything possible to ensure our customers continue to receive the service levels they expect.
Our delivery service and trade counters will continue as normal, but we will also be utilising courier services where possible. Because couriers are likely already making deliveries to your business, using their services minimises the number of visitors to your premises.
Many of you already place orders by email or telephone, but urgent collections on the trade counters are unavoidable. To minimise the risk of spreading COVID-19, please contact us by telephone or email for urgent collections, so your goods can be ready for collection on arrival. These measures will allow us to follow social distancing guidelines from the government and protect our customers and staff in the worrying times ahead.
We will continue to monitor the situation and keep you informed of any changes.
BXH pride themselves on having excellent stock levels and this will continue, along with constant communication with suppliers to avoid any potential supply problems.
We may not have toilet rolls, hand wash, flour or eggs, but we do have lots of industrial control and automation equipment to help keep your business running. But on a serious note - our thoughts are with anyone who has been affected by the spread of COVID-19 and we hope you and your families stay safe.
If you have any thoughts or ideas that could help our business and our customers during these difficult times, we are open to your suggestions.
